Who Are The Catholic Daughters of the Americas?
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas.
They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.”
The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity".
Purpose:
Catholic Daughters of the America participate in the religious charitable and educational apostolates of the Church
Meeting:
Meet in the Parish Hall on the 1st. Sunday of every month at 9:15 a.m.
Communion Sunday:
1st Sunday of the Month at the 8:00 a.m. Mass
Special Celebrations:
August 15th – Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
National CDA Day
November 4th – CDA Memorial Mass for deceased members
November 22nd – Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
December 8th – Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Other information:
Catholic Daughters of the Americas assist in every aspect toward the good of St. Joseph Church.
